SH Steel Manufacturing Plc. is a joint venture partnership between Walia Steel Industry Plc and Mr. Huang Huaxian, a Chinese entrepreneur. The company was established in 2018 with an initial capital of more than Birr 487,million placed in 100,000 meter square of land. The plant, located in Addis Ababa Nifas Silk Lafto Sub-city, Wereda 01, produces mainly reinforcement bars, wire rods and angle irons.

The plant can produce 800,000 Metric Tone annually with sizes ranging from 8mm to 24mm reinforcement bars, and 5.5mm to 12mm wire rods.
